Gravity plays an important role in the shaping of these pieces, as printing certain parts ‘in the air’ establishes an interplay between material, technique, and physics. Through differences in the rotation angles within the 3d design, the layers of clay, when printed, fall into different curves over one another. In the end, these organic shapes are created.
